Cadet Blue
Well i am STILL looking for my 05 clk 500, Ray Catana Mercedes in NJ said they found one with all the options i am looking for but the only thing is that it is CADET BLUE.....has anyone seen the w209 in cadet blue and if you have, how does it look, is it a chicks color or what? Would appreciate the feedback, thanks fellas

Stone Leather....it has everything i want and this is the first dealer that has actually found the car, that is why i am in such a rush.

Sounds good...I've got stone and its very nice but gets dirty so put down some clear mats over the carpeted ones.
The cadet blue is elegant and should not be seen on every corner. Get the car it's is a great color combo.

I just saw a Cadet Blue CLK500 at my local dealership an hour ago. I like that color on a W211 better than a CLK. Although the CLK is not a very "sporty" looking car, it is still a coupe. I think the Cadet Blue matches better with a bigger sedan than a 2-dr coupe. Just my $0.02.

I have an '05 Cadet Blue CLK500. Everyone's got a Black, Grey or Silver car. Who are you working with at Ray Catena?
I suggest Neil Goldman. Tell him Stu sent you. If you want a car he'll search the incomings over at Jersey City or on the boat and get it for you.
I have stone interior and the car is a knockout. not too many people have it!

I bought. I traded in my 2001 BMW 530i and that car was a sweet car with uncomfortable seats. Lighting Package, Sunroof Package, and little extras, chrome door handles, chrome mirrors (on order), rubber floor matts, trunk matts, ski rack-pass through.

I like the chrome inserts in the door handles. Some may think it's cheeky, but it looks good, IMO.

Scovit are they the standard 05 17" wheels and do you know the code for them?
I have a 05 CLK500 Cab on order for Jan delivery but prefer the 2004 wheels.
Have ordered Jasper Blue with Alpaca Grey interior. (Orion with Ash in the USA)

smandkjc: They are the Standard 17" "New" AMG design. They actually look larger than they really are! Larger than the 2004 4-spokers . No, I am not sure of the code.

The rims look larger because the spokes extend to the edge of the rim , where the 04 and back curve in before the edge. The tire rack has the new rims in 18 " and I think they were $400-450 per rim but please check to make sure.

They look like they would be more likely to get damaged on kerbs than the 04 type.
STD spec here in New Zealand is 18" but I have ordered 17" for the softer ride.
Have ordered code 639 but I think that the new pattern is probably now code 639.
The AMG body package is a NZ$10,000 option here and does not include the trunk lid spoiler.
My car to USA spec works out at about US $ 115,000 including Keyless Go, Parktronic, Heated seats and Power foldback mirrors. Oh and we dont get Steering wheel shift buttons and probably not the Logic 7 sound system as STD either.

I hate to attach a gender stereotype, but around where I live, women drive white cars. In fact, I was at the dealer yesterday, and one of the receptionist girls was showing off her newly purchasred white BMW 330CI with black interior. Nice looking car, but not something I would get.
I look at it this way, these are the colors everyone gets, Black, Silver, and White.
If you are into head-turning, I would go with something a little different....but that's my tastes....Different strokes for different folks and that's why Baskin Robbins offers 39 flavors!

i was thinking about getting the cadet blue but i already ordered my car, got black with the two tone leather, charcol and grey with a whole bunch of options. The keyless go option was the real turnaround for me, i HAD to have that. Car should be here next week....after the tints and the rims i will post some pics
