Hi . I want to instal an android unit . Unfortunatly ive discovered my clk is 255mm across . And most units are 260 . I have found 255mm but the price difference is horrendously idiotic for the same unit and specs . Will there be a big issue in installing a 260mm unit . If its just squeezing it in a little no big deal . Please help
I ended up with a fitting kit to convert to a standard double din size and that opened up the options. While not as clean looking as the units designed to look factory, I am happy with the outcome.
This is a standard double din unit, with a tablet style front (comes in 10” (which this one is, which covers the fitting kit) or a smaller size) Joying unit
That’s actually pretty cool I’ve been looking for a head unit for my clk550, do you have any more info? What model is that?

I bought this Android Head unit from AliExpress. Search Kapud Store's name. I got it installed couple days ago. Head unit size is 255mm. x 120mm. x 238mm. Everything works great for me.
I also order fiber optic decoder box Xtrons brand from AMAZON for my Harman Sound system.
I was surprised that It comes with Build-in Wireless Apple CarPlay.
Hope this can helps you guy.
How is the sound quality compared to stock? Any issues with controls etc.? I was actually looking at this specific unit the price and styling is very attractive.

I can say sound quality is the same as original head unit but you can not adjust speakers front and back fading , only speakers left and right balance can be setting. I have no issue with controls [ if you mean the steering wheel control ].
The same? Really? Well then.. this might be my next purchase then I had the unit controls itself in mind, does the unit lagg or everything is smooth? I'm kind of sceptic of the build quality as it seems very slim and you can not adjust the color of buttons, also it mentions it has a DSP, does that work as intended or is it just a chinese gimmik? How pleased of the units build quality are you?
Sorry to bother you with these questions I just couldn't get a hold of people that have bought a similar unit

I like the DSP feature it's very useful sound adjustment. The control buttons of the head unit is only red color which I can't find in-app adjustment. The build quality I give 8 out of 10.
There is no user manual or install instruction in the box. If you have more further of the head unit I would recommend to ask to the seller.
You will miss the Navigation message on the instrument cluster. Good news it will shows the FM AM channel and Music.
I forgot to mention that my head unit model is 4gb ram+ 64gb rom + wifi and 4G build-in wireless CarPlay Model.
Thank you for all of the answers! Yeah they said that the color of buttons is not changable sadly:/ I haven't used navigation even once with the stock unit (mainly because the vehicle is from USA and I live in EU so the nav doesn't work) so I don't even know what will be missing.
Once again thank you for all of the information.
