MBZ SLK
My dad brought a S500 4-matic a couple of months ago. He had a great experience, the staff there was extremely nice and helpful. Ask for Win Lewis, he wasn't pushy and catered to our needs, I definitely would recommend Glauser. Go now and you might see the rare SLR, it's in the showroom. If you are looking for a CLK, they have plenty to choose from.

I spoke with david several times and he really wanted for us to be happy with the deal that they gave me and it was a plesent experience. Unfortunatly i got the runaround for about a week from the delivery people and finally i got the car on friday. Those peple were absolutly rediculous with there stories BUT i finally got my way and they are paying for 2 days of my pay at work and Glauser is now sending me a jacket to make up for the trouble....GOOD PEOPLE!

I loved the guy and bought several cars from him over the course of two or three years. I "did him a favor" as I waited for a vehicle to be delivered which was late by buying a 2001 SL as they were already bringing in the 2002's. (This also increased their allotment for the new SL) In return for buying this SL I was supposed to get a launch edition SL- however, when I called he treated me like he didn't know what I was talking about.

Before this I never dealt with anyone better and would simply buy a mercedes over anything else because he was such a pleasure to work with. I would even make the 45 minute trip to Glauser instead of going locally for service- granted great excuse to drive on the water! And as mentioned he is a trip and really knows the cars and every aspect of the financing to be able to get creative... I know he has a HUGE list of clients but I don't think I was a bad one averaging over a car a year- I def. was expecting a phone call later but no contact after that whatsoever.

I live in Tampa and every time I go to my local dealershop the whole sales force has chenged. I gave up on following sales people around after buying a Range Rover from a former sales person who was gone by the time I came in a month later. Too bad Benz doesn't pay these people better and get them to stay as I can tell you I would pay a bit more to have a long relationship... Just my two cents- sorry to vent but I have now owned 9 mercedes since '98 and the taste keeps getting worse!!!!!

Agreed, follow-up is not David Wachs' greatest asset. Before he left for CO he left me hanging with a $120.00 rental bill he promised to take care of. He did come through on a 04 replacement for my lemon 03, even swap! I took David and his wife out for a very nice dinner as a thank you. Kingsley the GM of the dealership is a true "stand-up guy", if you ever have a problem go to him.

glauser...

i've spoken with david w. about a 2005 SL500, and came away with what i thought was a worthwhile lease deal that beat everything in S FL and SE PA hands down. i found david totally helpful and unexpectedly pleasant.

i didn't follow through because i cancelled a planned CO ski trip to handle rather unexpected office matters.

we haven't gotten an SL yet. if we do a late season ski trip, then we could go to the dealership and meet the guy. (i believe there are fairly good reasons to do the deal in state rather than across states.) he'd ship the car to our doorstep, so there'd be no need to drive the car to its new home.

on a different subject, does anybody in this forum have experience with the G? we've been thinking about one of those to replace a car, considering the intermittent wild weather in S FL could stop almost any MB coupe trying to escape in the midst of flooding.

looking forward to your replies.

david

Hey guys, it's nice to hear that you all have positive comments about the dealership... I am a detailer for Glauser in Denver and everyone who works there are all great people! I am usually on the BMW forums since I own a bmw (for sale) but I also like coming here because I like MB just as much. If you guys have any questions concerning the dealer just let me know I would be glad to help you out!

BTW starting in May we will be a MB and Porsche dealer.

I can look out my window, at work, and see the dealership. I have called them a few times and they are very friendly. A co-worker went over there but actually recommended Mercedes of Littleton over them. He said the salesman at MB littleton was very friendly and even took them in the back to show them the new cls before it was supposed to be on the floor.

I have not heard anything negative on glauser, though. If you need anything let me know, I literally can get to the dealership in less than a minute.
