NEW OWNER- ALIGNMENT ISSUES- CLK350
I just bought a 2009 CLK350 Convt with 48K miles. Nice shape in and out. I really like the car. But it pulls slightly to the right, and I took it to Firestone to align it and they change some settings but said they couldn't change the rear camber much, though they said it's in the range. (On the bubble so to speak) on the left side (drv side) The car has the Sport Suspense. Is it possible that it has different alignment specs then the normal suspension?
Obviously it still pulls somewhat right. I didn't think that an alignment would be all that complicated and that's why I took it to Firestone. But reading more up on these cars and continuing to learn they have some complicate issues at times to fix. I came from having a Toyota Solara Convt, which was pretty trouble free, but I can do some wrenching so I am hoping doing some of things myself, like oil changes, brakes, etc might help keep the maintenance issues down a bit but I do know as I get more into this wonderful car, it can get complicate.
Anyway, if there are special Alignment spec for the sports suspension that would be good to know. Thanks Jack
