Is this a good price?
I'm being offered a new 2004 CLK320 (Pewter on Charcoal) with no options other than the sunroof for $46500 OTD from Fletcher Jones Mercedes in Southern California. Is this a good deal? Can I do better? Thanks in advance.

Well, i am not sure if thats a good offer or not, but I just bought a pre-owned certified CLK500, well all options besides distronic (keyless go, command, bi-xenons, phone, parktronic, Voice command) with 10k miles and 5 year 100k mile warrenty for 46k. I don't know if this will help you or not but i thought i'd just throw it out there.

hmm..one is new, the one xtian got is used..but the used one is a really good deal. if i were you i would try to find a used one like xtian did, thats a killer deal.

You can definitely do better than that. My 2004 CLK320 in April was $43,600 before taxes. It has lighting package, keyless go, and sunroof package. Even a bone stock CLK320 on carsdirect.com is $41,570 and with 8.25% tax, that comes out to around $45k.

from what i hear around, fletcher jones marks up the price a bit more than other dealers. but they sell the most benzs because of the after service they provide. carwash, shoeshine, manicures, lounges, airport shuttle, airport parking, etc. sounds funky but it works. im sure you can find a better deal somewhere else. try caliber motors or house of imports and shop around.

yes they do. where you pick up your car after a car wash, there against the wall is a guy who shines shoes. there are about 3 shoe shine seats there. the manicurist next to the gift shop. they have a lil golf putting too. its opposite of the shoe shine guy.

price
in fl, mine was $41,750 before acq fee.

MSRP was just shy of $50,000
but i leased mine, so they're making the $$ on the vig.
I think they really discounted the car to make the deal work, as the '05s were arriving...picked it up in July.
