Decided to take my newly acquired '09 CLK550 to Virginia Motorsports Park just for fun. Car is bone stock 65K miles except for drop in AEM air filters which were previously installed. The air was decent about 52 degrees and the track elevation is 170ft. Car is on all season Michelin Pilot Sport 4S so I didn't try the hardest launch. 60' was 2.07 with a soft launch...no wheelspin at all. 13.09@107.1. This seems in line with what is expected. 0-60 from the 1/8 mile time and speed can be calculated from a wallaceracing.com online calculator. using data from the time slip it calculates 0 to 60 as 4.21 sec.

I sold it to Carvana in December of 2020.
The resonator is also deleted and located in the spare tire well (I believe). Car has 2 aftermarket dry air filters. Sunroof headliner was sagging but I think Carvana addressed it?
Loved it for about a year and gave it TLC after having it shipped from CA. Barn find in a way, first owner passed away and it made its way to into the hands of a used car dealer.

yep...all of that follows as the headliner appears a bit touched and smudged. One of the pillar panels has been removed as it isn't attached well.. Really nice car and we have enjoyed it so far. It does indeed have two aftermarket dry filters (AEM) installed. I've been through the car with a fine toothed comb and replaced every fluid. Passenger front wheel had a slight bit of curbing that I did some cosmetic touch ups.
1) Rough up/downshifts from 1-2/2-1. Fluid flush didn’t appear to affect it, but it never got worse either.
2) Warm start knock. Somewhat well known on M272/M273 engines, due to incorrect bearing clearances from the factory. A few folks were able to get upper crank bearings replaced when the vehicles were newer/under warranty and that seemed to fix it. It can be replicated by driving and getting the car up to temp, shutting it off, waiting 5-10 minutes, and restarting. You’ll hear it.
3) Front wheels are bent when I bought the car and I never got around to fixing them. More of an NVH annoyance at high speeds than anything else.

1) Rough up/downshifts from 1-2/2-1. Fluid flush didn’t appear to affect it, but it never got worse either.
2) Warm start knock. Somewhat well known on M272/M273 engines, due to incorrect bearing clearances from the factory. A few folks were able to get upper crank bearings replaced when the vehicles were newer/under warranty and that seemed to fix it. It can be replicated by driving and getting the car up to temp, shutting it off, waiting 5-10 minutes, and restarting. You’ll hear it.
