TWC: Brabus CLK Widebody Pics

Hello All, Here is my completed widebody for my w209. The widebody is construced of sheet metal front and rear, and the front fender was designed by me. I wantd the vents in the front to flow with the lines of the car. (Not too sure you can see with these pictures), but here are the specs:

HRE 545R painted Black
19x9.5 front with 2.5 inch lip
19x11 rear with 4 inch lip
255/35 Continental Front
295/30 Continental Rear

Car is sitting on H&R coilovers. I have my 14' Brake kit sitting in my garage but have not had time to install them. Once they are on, I will take better, and higher resolution pictures.

I would like to thank Autowerks autobody for the superb job they did on my car. They had great customer care service and the quality of work they do is extremely great. If you need custom bodywork for your car, I would recommend them all the way. Aslo would like to thank Carrozzeria Design for the Wheels. HRE's are Excellent.

Enjoy the pictures.

damn dude that looks niiiice!!! im with JW230k. i think it would look better with the star grill. the grill kinda reminds me of a g35 grill without the infinity badge. otherwise everything is looking pimp

nice work! This was your plan to fit that big *** tires in CLK.
I see now.
But one thing though..
It really doesn't have that classy look anymore...
maybe it's because of the star missing tho w/o the star, the car looks more aggressive.
What about performance of your car? Even HREs are heavy with those tires and all the metal pieces.
Did you do the mods purely for looks?

Thanks for the comments. I get alot of mix opitions about the grill. The grill was something different IMO, I wanted to make it a bit more aggressive, but yes, i have thought about changing it back to the star grill, but i just want to be different. The star grill makes it classier that i do agree. Maybe ill change my mind later down the road.

As for performance, i have RBtech quad exhaust system and their H/F resonator. Im am getting a pully, chip, and a custom intake sytem for the car soon.

...yeah i hear ya, that's cool that you wanna look different on the road.... have u looked into possibly blacking out the stock star grill?? i think that'd look pretty sweet especially with the black hre's?

Hey D!

That's very nice bro! How long did the whole custom bodykit take? Also can you take some more pics of the rear? Wanna see them 295's along with fender job.

If i had a black car, Yeah for sure I would do it. But yeah, i think i might go buy an extra grill from the dealer and experiment with it. Then ill have the aggressive grill, and then a Clean Grill, haha

James:

Ill try to take more pictures once i get the Brake Kit installed. The weather in LA sucks and its been pouring like crazy, but hopefully soon. The body work took about 3 1/2 weeks to do. I think a widebody E55 would look SWWEEEETT..

have you put the coil-overs down anymore to see how it looks sitting really nasty with those big fenders?

car looks absolutely beautiful! Give you props for being bold enough to really take some dramatic modifications. And btw im with everyone else the star on the grill will make it complete! I know u want it to be unique maybe you can make the star, carbon fiber(match the rims).

Well, you can do what Shaq did for his widebody CLK cabrio and get a custom Superman-logo bedecked Strut grille (see the current issue of Celebrity Car).

Just kidding, of course.

sweet, your car looks bling bling.
I am one of the few who don't like the star in the grille - its too pretentious or something, like saying.. "hey if you can't figure it out, I have a Mercedes!"
just MHO, my car on order will have the star so i better start liking it

that is TIGHT!! I love the way the front looks--clean. I'm not a fan of having the big star on the grill either, you can tell that it's a MB without it.
