Dead Amplifier - Removing the rear SAM Module Lock
I'm needing to replace the amplifier in my 550 convertible. Purchased a new-to-me unit on eBay and looking to do the install myself. I've found a few write up's but haven't found any that explain how to remove the lock on rear SAM module for better access to the amp. I'm sure the answer is simple but I can't seem to get the locking plate (below) off on the rear SAM module to get it out of the way. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Everything I've found shows the amp on the driver side of the convertibles - It's located behind the hydraulic pump for the convertible top but if I can move the SAM out of the way it looks to be an easy access point. Unlocking and moving the SAM out of the way seems like a lot less of a headache than messing with the hydraulic parts.
