Don't remember exactly, but off the top of my head, I think it was 21%.

I'm having a K8 front bumper cover being installed as we speak! It should be done by the weekend (I hope!). Although there are other things that I would have bought for my car first, (I broke my stock airdam, so I might as well fit the Brabus now...), as I wish I had more done to the car other than my Brabus wheels. I'm still really looking forward to seeing it? How are the driving lamps? I can't imagine how much light that must be, between bi-xenons on high beam and those driving lights. People better think twice before highbeaming me, muwhahaaha...

Best regards,
Matt

Thanks for the kind words!

Not sure what exactly you are refering to as "driving lamps". The high beams (inner lights) or fog lights (outside lights). But by the way you talk about them on high beam, I'm guessing you are talking about the high beams on the kit. For me personally, the fog lights are useless (as with the stock ones) because you can't see them over the xenons. Another factor may also be that it might be aimed a little lower than usual, but still doesn't do much with your regular lights on. I will be changing the fogs out to HIDs in a bit, so I should be able to give you a better report after.
As for the high beam (inner lights), the work fine, but still kinda useless from the fact that the regular high beam is so bright. It does project a noticeable light onto the ground though, just doesn't really do much. Hope that helps.

On another note, the day I got my kit installed, there was some other guy there with a CLK500 which had Brabus K8 bumper, Brabus rear, BBS LMs, and some kind of exhaust. For a second, I thought the K8 was gonna be rare, to my surprise another guy had it the day I put it on.

Hope to have more updated pics when my car is "completed". :v

That is a Great looking bumper! How did you modify the orignal Brabus bumper to look like the K8 bumper....Or is that the K8 bumper...b/c I thought the K8 bumper was total different in front, only have dual fog lights?

Thanks for the comment. It is a K8 bumper, only I was told that the US market gets the quad lights instead of the mesh grill you see in pictures. However, you can still get the mesh grill from Brabus if you want.

OH yes that is the bOmb! I love your car....the tint is great are we allowed to do that the UK laws are such that we arent allowed? did you get a loophole? By the way when was the current shape brought in... I am trying to ascertain the new new shape. I have seen some forums that have phot shop pics but that is about as reliable a source as a concrete cow is for milk. I hear its a 7 year turnaround, and there has been a face lift over the last few days which inclused minor changes. Any more info? Would be lovely

I got it through a past sponsor of this site, but there are many other stores that can get you Brabus stuff. Not sure if you want the K8 bumper or just the regular Brabus bumper, but if what Brabus said is true, you might have some trouble finding a new K8 bumper since only 10 were made for N. America. If you are in So Cal, I might be able to recommend a shop.

Howardr - tint on the front windows are not legal here, but alot do it anyways.
