yeah, i've never really liked that look - even on hondas... i'd be interested to see it on an actual benz.

Here's ctC230K's pic of his C class car. Yes, a lot of C members do this mod because the orange stands out. Some change the clear bulbs to amber ones to meet the DOT (department of transportation) requirements. Clear lenses during the day, amber at night. Other members decided to paint the lenses the same as the body. Some install Euro strips which completely removes the lenses. It all a matter of preference.

I don't think W209 and W203 are the same. I could be mistaken. If so it would be great.

the C55 and the W209s are the same.. they had to give teh C55 a CLK55 front end to accomodate the V8 engine.

The C-class side markers will not fit on w209 CLK 55. It's the right shape but it's alittle bigger than w209. The only way you can make it fit is if you make the whole that fits the side marker in, a little bigger. I guess you can shave or sand it till it's the right size to fit those side markers.
