Talking Pulley Kit for 2002 CLK 55

Hey guys,

What do you guys think of EV*sports pulley kit for 2002 CLK 55.

Any HP gains?

Rough estimate how much will it cost to have the dealer install the pulley kit, let me know what your experiences are. I'm going to have a chip installed, not yet sure which manufac to go with.

Tell me about it I'm eagered to make some engine mods without shelling out thousands of dollars for a Supercharger. A pulley would be ideal but all I read about are Pulley's for the C32/36 etc. What about the CLK 55? Could some of you share your thoughts, opinions and/or advice regarding Pulley's for the CLK 55?

Thanks Quant...is this a underdrive pulley? Do you CLK 55 owners have a Pulley? If so, please share the specs etc.

E55 AMG (SOLD), EvoSport CLK (SOLD), 2013 GsxR 750 (SOLD)
The EvoSport Pulleys are good. For a 320, you can definitely feel the gains. I had about 8 horsepower at the wheels.

LET motorsports confirmed that the C55 pulley works on the w208 CLK55 setup as well. Dunno about gains.

gains are on the link above by "quant".

Both are good, both work but work in completely different ways. Crank pulley makes power everywhere but makes more of it in the lowend to midrange and still makes decent gains up until about the last 500-1000rpm where it makes less & less. The E\/osport pulleys make power in the last 1000rpm. The best answer is obviously get BOTH. But really if you want more usable power for the street get the crank pulley. Both will improve engine efficiency. However, some people don't like underdriving their accessories (AC, alternator, power steering etc) so they chose just the crank pulley.

honestly its completely up to the driver/consumer. whichever combo suits them best they can chose, they are both 100% compatible with each other so you have 3 options: just crank pulley, just accessory pulleys, or both.

hope that helps

Thanks a lot Doc that was exactly what I was looking for...more detailed info. I think the crank Pulley fits me perfectly.
