Hello to all:

I have just purchased a 2001 CLK55 AMG. I have a 2003 CLK 320 convertible, which my wife drives daily, but I wanted a performance car. I am very excited about this. I am due to pick the car up on friday.

This car is an absolute gem. It is a coupe, 2001 as I said, but only has 23,000 miles on it, and has never been wet. It has been lowered an inch, and looks and drives great.

It will be my daily driver. I am also excited about being a member of this board, as it appears has some tenured and serious members here who will be able to help with all kinds of great info.

My plan is to modify the car in the future to add a chip, and maybe some additional perf features, but nothing radical.

Anyway, I am looking forward to e-talking with you all....

Willkommen! Good choice on that CLK55. If you need any info for future mods no need to look somewhere else other than Kleemann USA! Can't believe Chappy hasn't chimed in yet on this? He should be all over this like he is on his CLK55!

I would actually like to look into wheels. My CLK320 has MB 18's that are a little more spoked, and mirrored finish.

In any event, lots of ideas, but happy for the moment.
