New, never, I agree. But used? I had a great experience getting this at a great price on eBay.

Regarding the CLK63 on eBay? eBay is nothing more then near free advertisement with ridiculously large readership for them. I don't think -they- expect to sell it there. But they may get a lead to sell that or other cars from that post.

BTW, CLK63 has become my favorite after driving it in the AMG Challenge this Monday at Limerock Park. Loved it over all the behemouths (which still performed smashingly) on the main track; I set track record / record o'dee-day out of all participants in it on the super short loop in the Advance Vehicle Dynamics driving challenge. AMG has come a -long- way from my C43. The way the tranni adapted quickly after driving it a little hard and held the gears to redline and -never- upshifted until redline? I though I accidentally went into manual mode. But nope, it just works that way, and works! Car's BRILLIANT!

C63 / ////AMG
Nice looking cab, but too bad the coupe isn't coming to the U.S. - you'd get the dual exhaust tips, a little less weight, and a more rigid body at a lower price. I would go for the CLK63 coupe if it was offered. Thanks Mercedes, now I have an excuse to wait for the C63 when the lease on my C55 is up next year...

We need to tell MBUSA -this- is the CLK63 we want....
(it should go w/o saying, w/o the safety lights )

They really should release a car like that. Just like how Audi has the S4 and RS4, this car should be an upgrade to the CLK63. Like a performance package option which would be a coupe, wide body (doubt they'd do the wide body but maybe more aggressive styling), tuned engine, raised electronic governor, performance wheels, sportier interior, lsd, etc. And I know they make the CLK DTM, but that is priced way too high.

Oh well...does anyone know if it will be possible to get a 63 coupe imported or are you basically stuck with the cab?
