Give us more details on it? Did you get to check it out? Did you get to test drive it by any chance?

$109,000 Euros?

Damn that's expensive! I read that it was going to be around $80,000 (USD)!

No sorry, I was walking by the dealer way after hours.
The tag was 109k Euros, which is about 135k $'s but they're never as expensive in the US as in the EU.

This dealer seems to specialize in SAMGF's. I've never seen that designation in the US, any idea on what it stands for? It appears to be a lower end AMG.

I'll bet the MSRP will be higher. Look at the ML63 start at $85,500, and it isn't even fully load. Also don't forget USA only gets the convertible so tack on a few thousand. Before you blink it will be close to $100K loaded.

$100K, nicely equipped for the convertible only in the US is correct.

MLs carry a higher margin, so it is hard to compare them from an equipment standpoint. But, I remember somebody remarking that they would both be at the same price target.

Ran across this thread and decided to add my 2 cents, or at least my 4 photos. Sorry for the quality. I took them with a cheesy cell phone camera as I was picking up my AMG at MB of Laguna Niguel. Price was $92,000+or- for the Cab.

So, looks like on the window sticker that both 63 engines are putting out the same peak torque (I saw a E63 window sticker), but different peak horsepower?

A160 CLASSIC (The Tardis), VW Passat Diesel
perhaps due to the twin exhaust on the cab vs the quads on the sedan ie more restrictive?

Thanks. Check out this thread, post #17. I posted some clearer shots of the sticker and front of the car. I had to go back with the camera to settle a discussion on the price of the cab. No one believed it was $92,000. This settled it.

Clk 63

The reason the CLK 63 has less horsepower than the E63 is due tot he fact the engine is less constricted in the E63. More air is able to flow through giving more ponies to the E63.

Yes, it's detuned when compared to the E63, however, it's still nice and lighter...
