Also, the air that is needed was probably less than perfect judging from the fan they had. Lastly, the temperature and humidity readings were also not favorable. My guess is that these numbers would change if done again by someone who is familiar with the car. Not making excuses just adding variables to consider. Tuning a car requires, as I have learned this summer, exactly that...lots of fine tuning.

Like I mentioned before, my car is still in the shop fixing the poorly installed exhaust and while there will get overlooked again one last time in conjuction with Kleemann to see that all is as it should. At first the numbers were dissapointing relative to what is advertise but I am very satisfied with the end results nonetheless. The near 600hp that Kleemann advertises on the web is IMO far from what can be achieved with my car. But I guess all tuners are guilty of hype to some extent. On Kleemann's defense, they have been exceptionally helpful and on their customer services alone they get my vote for my next car.

I get the car back with new Kleemann springs and completed on Tuesday. Once I drive it for about 300 miles I will dyno it again and post results.

Learso,

I dyno'd my car this past week and found that my E55 was also down shifting while it got punched. I talked with cory at kleemann and you need to make sure that when the operator punches it, it does not hit the "red line" button at the very bottom of the gas peddle. That will cause the car to down shift. If he floors it and does not hit the button, he should be "OK". We're in boston. Lets meet up and do a few runs.

Thank you X-tian. The car is now under agreement and the new owner can enjoy the whole adventure that comes with the car. The car is perfect so I think he will be delighted with it.

As for the Kleemann suspension...I noticed it is lower and a tad firmer than the AMG eurosprings...worth it? Only if you are going to supercharge it.

so you just got the springs, not the dampeners as well?

Installed the Kleemann springs and they are fine. You need to bump up the pads in the front IMO a bit to compensate for the extra s/c weight but other than that it looks and rides very respectably well behave. Not a big leap from the Euro-springs ride.

The Euro-springs and the winter tires are sold, sorry boys. I only hav stock AMG springs left to sell.

I think will finally get an LR3 HSE loaded and in a year trade in the ML500 for the ML63.

lol shame... thats not what we were discussing... more AMG, less ford...

Just kidding man, hopefully you get all the space and safety you need in the new ride...

..........good question regardless. The best answer is no, you don't get a warranty.

I am just signed the 2 year lease for the 06 LR3 HSE black/black. I will see how I like the ML63 and then decide to up to that later...for now I am going into chill-out mode and wait for winter to bring it on.

Kleemann does not make dampers are far as I know but I really would have like to replace them with something that kept the rear tires to the ground on wet days. You would sacrifies the ride comfort a bit but again with that much power, absolutely worth it.

For the CLK55? Really? Funny because I was recently on the phone with Cory and he told me only about the springs as an option.

I missed it!

I woke up late, had a long day at work on Friday.. had to nap in.

I saw Pete's white E500 and the CLK55 K driving past my apartment building in Watertown (outside the bus station). My brother was like .. "Hey.. there's a white E-Class and an AMG CLK"
