Bad news first: I gotta sell the wifey's CLK55. Sucks since we've only had it for a few months and just recently modded it, too. I wanna wait 'til next year at least, but since it's her "dream car" that's she's willing to give up, I gotta do what I gotta do. We have to get something practical now, most likely a wagon or suv.

Now, the good news: After years of trying and after many Kaiser Specialist visits, the wifey and I are FINALLY having a baby!! Just got the official word yesterday. We're already making big plans to turn one of the spare bedrooms into a baby room, really cleaning up the house (including a much needed steam-cleaning), etc.

So, this is a happy and sad post at the same time. But w/ a baby on the way, I know I gotta get my priorities straight since it'll be tough for her to make the CLK55 her baby car. We thought about switching cars, but then it'll be tough since we go out a lot and bring our dogs w/ us (they've been riding in the S4) w/ a dog seat cover, of course. Now, you see why we need a wagon or suv. I'm leaning towards an Audi Allroad for her, but am open to other models as long as they're AWD.

Also, I've been driving her CLK55 lately since I know it'll be gone soon. Hopefully, the next owner will appreciate it w/ the mods I added and enjoy it longer than we have. Thanks for reading and wish us luck!

Congrats on the baby! My wife is 20 weeks and we too have made the migration to another baby car (sold her VW cabrio).

Just because the CLK has to go doesn't mean you do....stick around. We've enjoyed your posts.

Thanks! And congrats to you, too.

Yeah, I'll probably stick around whether I go w/ another MB or different make. Glad to see that others have enjoyed reading my posts.

Congrats man! You should sell your coilover setup and those wheels seperately, that is if you still have your stock parts. You'll get more money back that way.

btw, don't remember if you said it already, but why does it have to be AWD?

Congrats on the baby.

Those rims are nice. Are you parting them out? I always wanted 18inch rims! Hmmmmmmmmmm

I'm gonna keep sell it w/ mods included, unless the buyer wants the suspension back to stock. Then, I'll sell the PSS9s afterwards. I don't have the OEM wheels, I sold the stock chrome wheels on eBay a while ago.

I just prefer AWD and I'm looking at the Allroad, E-Class 4matic wagon and even Subaru. We plan on heading up to Reno/Tahoe this winter and it'll be nice to have AWD... w/ the proper tires, of course.

Dump the S4? Thought about it, but I'd rather keep it since it's new and only has 4K miles on it (plus it's paid off).

And thanks everyone for the congrats on the baby. The wifey and I appreciate the support!

I had to try. The S4 is a great car. How about a Q7 to go along with it? Those things are sexy.
