I have thought about retrofitting the bmw along with a belt driven or electric pump. But the exhaust suction idea holds promise as long as you do it behind any turbo.

Did I read correctly that your intake mani port work yielded 25 hp?
If so I'm going to do the same.
Can you re-use the all the gaskets with this R and R job? Or do I need to source new intake gaskets?

Wish we still had these pictures. I’m at a crossroads of modifying an n/a 55 intake manifold for a twin turbo setup. Might just work better to get a tig welder and design a custom manifold. In that case I could re-locate the throttle body to be on the front of the motor...
