2002 CLK 55 AMG Coupé
More 63 CLK Black Series Material
Here is a link with more video footage of the 63 CLK Black Series in action :
http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/autoexp...ck_series.html
And a similar announcement on a French site :
http://www.xelopolis.com/blog/nouvel...eries-dtm.html
The French tell us that the rear diffuser is a fake.
Neither site is giving hints on when sales begin. I expect AMG will keep the production numbers down, which makes US importation doubtful. Depending on the price, the low numbers may make this car an interesting investment. Especially since that mild widebody treatment and 50 extra ponies take this car deep into DTM territory.

2002 CLK 55 AMG Coupé
Well, I hope I'm wrong. But since MB has not even seen fit to import the usual CLK 63 Coupe (which I got to test drive last week - fantastic shifting!), I'm afraid the chances of seeing this Black Series CLK Stateside is slim to none.
However, no reason why the Gods of Stuttgart can't follow this up with a 63 Black Series Cabriolet and import that. Get your suntan lotion.

it looks like AMG is going after the M6 with this model....
I would love to see it here in the States...
I'm still want them to bring the coupe as well not just the CLK63 cabrio.

I just looked at a $98,000 CLK 63 of cource a cab since that is all we can get over here. All I can say is WOW that is the most UN-inspired looking car to come from AMG EVER!!!
I actually over looked 3 of them in the dealers parking lot and they were parked by them selves in the middle. The coupes look MUCH,MUCH better.
AMG must bring them here.

Lots of speculations going on here, but the car looks/sounds great. It takes after the CLK F1 Safety Car:
I doubt if it will be just 138K, I'm thinking 150K or better.
