Intake Manifold thermo Isolators

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I made these up this morning. 3/16" ~ .1875 ~ 5.01 MM
Garolite LE / Phenolic Linen & epoxy , Though they would make nice Isolators , to keep the heat from wicking the head to the manifold. Now I have to track down proper longer attachment Hardware. I do not know if there is any use as of yet?? Just an Ideal , When I install them I'll thermo-couple the head & intake. See if there is any benefits. It was under $200.00 to make . Should fit 500 / 5.5 . under a Kleemann or Renntech blower intake.

Wow! Thats a great idea. I never thought about heat transfer between intake/combustion parts and their mounting points. Thats awesome, I too want a pair for my collection of parts that I don't install.

Once again, I need more yet to be installed parts collecting dust on my parts rack. These would look great next to everything else

Evosport makes this for $350. Why did you decide to make them so thick PTE? I was just about to order mine through evosport but if you think yours are better I'd rather support an mbworlder.

Thermo spacers

Hi Guys:
The ones that Evosports makes are for MB Compressor Motors, only! They set in a different area. Just go to their site. The ones I'm working on , will work , in conjuntion , with Kleemann & Renntech. and N/a Motors . They will go between the cylinder Head & the intake manifold. Hold on . I've been down with the Flu. for 4 weeks . Blackbenzz , Please E-mail me at tynerfla@bellsouth.net ___PTE___

So the difference between these and the Evosport ones is their placement on the engine, correct? Yours go between the cylinder head & intake manifold, while the Evosport ones go between the intake manifold & surge tanks? What's the progress on the phenolic isolators for the M112 engines?

Thermo isolators

I've been asked politely by the administer / management not to post any of this type of threads. They explained that it falls within their guidelines of a commerical post , for sales of products. I accepted their decision , and respected there request. They have pulled the threads I started , in the areas where there are competitive products , Understandibly
I wish to continue to contribute , to these forums. And need not to make much to do over this minor , missunderstanding on my part. I will forefill all requests that where E-mail to my attention. Thanks to all___PTE___
