I probably just need to shut the heck up and wait patiently for my key just like everybody else.
I think I might scoop one up...any idea if it'll work on an 03 E500?
Now I just need to find a dealer that'll let me enable dvdinmotion on my euro comand with Star
Know if Darion will let that happen?

actually I just need access to the engineering menu, the mute+endcall+serv trick isn't working for me, but the other trick menus do
Autohaus(northbrook,il) said it wasnt possible for me to use the chrome key for my E, and they said I couldnt hook up MB nav
Autohaus is waiting for one replacement key they ordered for my car, so i'm waiting on the old-style key which I don't even like and probably costs more, is there anyway i can return it or sell it? When I buy the chrome key i'll have 3 keys, 2 of which are new...that's 1 too many keys for me.
Looks like i'll be proving them wrong on both accounts

Autohaus has great service, they give you a MB loaner for any car bought there. They also pick your car up and drop it off within 25 miles of the dealer, i think they even drop the loaner car off within 25 mi. John is the best in service...they've also got a good selection of cars, as does MB of Chicago (downtown)
MB at hoffman estates (Motorwerks) has great sales service, specifically Kevin -That guy is amazing.
Loeber's sales sucks, even though its a few blocks away from my house I stay away...However I called the parts dept. today and they seem good
How long did it take for you to get your key?
BTW, where the hell is lindenhurst, how far are ya from Chicago?
