I'm not trying to be a poser or anything but the brakes that I had upgraded on to my SL500 says amg on it because it was from an E55. I cannot take it off. I hope that doesnt **** anybody off. Would people say something if they saw that on my car?

I think they look mean, and if they stop your car quickly, and safely that's the entire point. I don't see much **** getting tossed around here about people using AMG branded parts on non AMG vehicles. It's the badge queens that get the heat.

AMG Brakes should carry an AMG logo, I wouldn't see any problem with that. As was stated, its more about the people who badge their non-AMG cars as AMG.

funny i never mentioned my car. And trust me the IP-game is real&easy, so im not acting tough on a computer...... Yea i have a real AMG, but who cares tho? its a car. We own things. Some of these cars come off the lot wit the AMG bagdes..... I dont see anyone with a AMG badge as posing.... now if you stamp a 55 badge or a 63 badge on something that it not, then thats posing. You told some one that did a brake conversion to paint it over, now thats ****ed up.... like you said funny how people act tough guys on a computer... I wish i had a sl500 wit 55 calipers and you(in person) told me to paint over the AMG!!!! you guys over here ego trippin' hard.
