AMG posers

Incidently, he wanted to order the whole slew of Black Series/6.3 badges for his CLK320 but fortunately he isn't old enough to have a credit card to use to pay for Ebay purchases and does not know my PayPal account password. The Best of Mercedes & AMG
edit: oh wait, i just realized you're actually asking to suck on my nuts instead of validate my amg swap....awkward.....
Your car is still a 500.
How do these people survive into adulthood with these decisions they make?

If you have a 500/550 be happy with it, there's no need to re-badge it, no one that matters will think you make more money or are a cooler person
Also - If a real AMG pulls up next to you and wants a go of it there will be a public douchefying of biblical proportions...

perhaps what you're really referring to is the little plastic AMG logos that always end up broken on the seats?!?!???!

I am sorry, I'll stick with my seats that don't break....or the little logo on the tach? lol i upgraded to AMG for the power and quickness, not silly logos and plastic emblems that fall off due to bad design.....reminds me of the abc system....i just want the amg boot badge because im proud of my drivetrain, just like anybody else who wears the amg badge. i am not somebody wearing an amg badge with a stock displacement powered drivetrain. the differences between the cl500 and cl55 are very minimal and tedious at best
so say what you will, in my eyes i saved myself 4k by doing an engine/tranny swap instead of just buying the cl55 amg. which by the way isn't insured by as many insurance companies since it's branded amg(common reason for engine swap in american cars)....ALTHOUGH this wasn't even my plan to begin with -
somebody put bleach and dirt in my gastank so my old m113 cl500 engine developed a loud "lifter noise" that was quite unpleasant for a mercedes, so instead of replacing the valvetrain i decided to go AMG since it's the same car otherwise...

edit:not only did i save myself money buying the cl500, and by not fixing the valvetrain (very tedious work) but i got to upgrade to amg in the process. so like i said, suck on my nuts son!!

how ironic!!!i only had to search for a few minutes to find youve actually had problems with one of two shiny little plastic emblems that i was talking about that seperate my car from yours. now i clearly understand why you take such pride in these little pieces of plastic

this all makes much more sense now. i guess in your standards my car is not amg, but hey whatever floats your shiny little plastic boat, man!

what does having a job and buying health insurance have anything to do with what we're talking about? your bandwagon peanut gallery opinion is not only useless, it's downright mind numbing. please refrain from any further nonsensical thought vomiting
and who here is talking about a sl500....? you guys have fun with your shiny little plastic logos.
yes, i enjoy working on my car and rebuilding my car, having the knowledge and resources at age 21 is a nice thing to take advantage of. especially when you have time to kill. i'm done with this thread....
