I like the idea of suggesting him to remove the "extra 0" that "by mistake" appears to be present next to the SL55 badge.

 

Yeah I see the point and I agree with it.

However, by the same logic we could say AMG are posers themselves because they rebadge Brembo brakes...for example. Lots of other cars have badges to reflect certain packages they have including BMW with their M packages etc.

The AMG badge is just that a badge and it has 0 importance. What's underneath that badge matters a lot more. Also, everyone mods their cars however the hell they want. If they want to be ridiculous let them. Who cares. We need entertainment too...not just properly modded cars.

You guys would be so envious of this 2009 CLK350 AMG. Like he says: "It's the AMG that makes it really nice." The exhaust sounds like it came off a farm tractor and I think my lawn mower is faster.

The French Canadians love their AH EM GEE posing as well. I see this one seems to be a 2004 CLK500 with badge.

Noticed on the video that he had four "awesome car man!" comments. Left my "dude thats not an AMG" and of course, got the message "comment pending author's approval" .

 

In South Africa you can buy almost model with AMG exterior bodystyling option as a trim package and the dealer will happily oblige and lay it on, from wheels to grille to side skirts to badging...

 

Ok this one has got to be the most obnoxious. There are badges in the interior to remind the owner that his CLK 350 is an AMG GRAND EDITION.

Isn't there commercial liability for car dealers to sell crap like that?

Take the AMG crap off and that's a really nice car. Looks like a Designo Mocha (Auburn Brown ?) interior. Love the colors.

And it still doesn't have AMG plastered all over the place, especially the transmission shifter.
