Those pesky Mustangs...

I was on a peaceful Sunday drive on the way to the park for a quick run. Did the fact that a Mustang cut me off bother me? No. Did the fact that the Mustang driver drove like an idiot in order to make it to the front of the light bother me? No. Did the fact that the driver sneered at my ride (maybe it was the babyseat in the back) bother me? Yes. Needless to say I embarrassed him; I need to exit onto a side street so I didn't continue the embarrassment. I was in the far left lane and made it to the far right lane with ease (he was in the middle lane). He attempted to tailgate me but continued on Allen Parkway. I thought the 2007/08 Mustang might have been a closer match but it wasn't even a contest. The guy was obvious proud of his ride and wanted to prove it to other drivers (older guy - not a 20 YO with his cap on backwards); maybe he will think twice before sneering at anything with an AMG on the back.

BTW 996 C2/C4 drivers and 911 drivers will won't bother with the AMG (just like I won't bother 996/997 TT drivers). Maybe they are more knowledgable about our cars than the average driver.

Nice runs...but 305hp vs 342hp seems pretty logical to me...and who knows, he may have just wanted to see what the AMG had in it (as you showed him)...

I dont race mustangs... with $10k they would eat my car for lunch.

That being said, I did have a stock C32 try to race me. I guess the Kleemann CLK55 badge in the rear didnt give it away

and also where it came from. Euro specs are 367. Not that the 5 hp really makes a difference

The w208 are 300lbs lighter then the w209 so the 20hp difference doesnt matter.
