hey guys ok im having trouble finding a front bumper lip for my w209 amg front bumper, i found a couple of sites but the lips range from 800 to 1800 and im not gona spend that much for something so little, so can anyone let me know where i can get a good price for a front lip any kind, thanks

Took me about 10-15 minutes. Very easy and straightforward install. Only catch is that it takes two people. If you can get 3 people (yourself, and 2 others) that would be even better. You just need someone to line it up and hold it in place while you drill a couple holes and put in the screws.

Looks nice but I wonder how that lip would look on a black car. Probably kinda pointless since it would blend in too easily.

Color wise it would match to the black very well. Carbon fiber goes great with black. I agree that it wouldn't make the car look drastically different, but it would stand out a bit. Not as much as on another colored car, but still would stand out.

P.S. I actually bought this lip (and the wheels) before I even bought my CLK55. If you happen to remember my thread from when I was searching for a CLK55 a year and a half ago, I really wanted a black CLK55. I thought the lip would look great on a black car, thats why I bought it. Ended up looking great on silver as well.


Don't worry about it... the holes are on the bottom of the bumper, no one will see
