I just had to "different."
Being different often has hidden costs. Good luck.

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
Different

would have been 235/35/19 and with the right offset you may have pulled off 285's on the rear.
Oh well that's why we all get do overs

Here's another post that would be useful

https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...307&highlight=

Hope it helps. Let us know how it turns out. I'm interested in purchasing 20" wheels for mine as well.

Seems like your front specs are correct but your rears should be in the range of 245-255/30-35.

i just put on my .394" spacers (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/5x112...spagenameZWDVW) along with the (permanent mounted) wheel stud conversion (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/12x1-...m200224020906&)! 1st part of the problem solved (clearance). Now I have to get the matching front tires (to match the 285-30 rears) and I should be good. Probly 245-35s...

Will post pics later

thats a big @$$ wheel/tire combo. To get an accurate rolling diameter, you'd need something more like 245 30 20 or maybe even smaller, and they'd be stretched. Especially if you don't want it to sit up too high. You can lower the car and use about 245 30 20 rear and 225 30 20 front, give or take. get a tire guy to calculate it for sure for you. With those 285's your speedometer is gonna be off and you'll be riding high (you probably already noticed this)

yeah I'm ridin pretty high, but I don't mind that as long as it doesn't look like I need a drop. As it is now with the rubber bands on the front I need a serious drop in the front only. I wanna match the height of the rear tire by putting a 245-35 on the front which would make it the same # of revolutions. Not worried about speedo being off, as long as it counts the same # of revs front and back so my traction control can stop acting up! The 245s would be way too small for the back i think, its a 10 inch rim. The 285s are already stretchin it
