[QUOTE=M-bENZ;2943865]How about the CLK 500-05 against G35-03?? Another buddy of mine have that so maybe I can borrow his car and playing with the one who got G35...The thing is they dont know each other lol...anyway do u think im gona take that G35?? and yes its just for fun thou. [/QUOI
I used to have a 2006 g35 coupe and i raced my cousins 06 CLK 500. I beat his clk500 from a dig and roll. It was a good 2-3 car win for my G35. I will agree that the G37 for it's class is pretty quick. I raced my buddy's lexus IS350 and I beat him even with I started with wheel spin.

CLK55 / E350 Coupe
The CLK55 AMG features a 5.4 L, 24-valve SOHC V8 engine and a 5-speed automatic transmission. The base price is US$69,900 for the coupé and US$87,000 for the cabriolet. The CLK55 AMG coupé was dropped in North America after the 2005 model year, though the cabriolet is still offered. The CLK55 was replaced by the CLK63 for 2007. However, the CLK 55 AMG actually accelerates 0 - 60 mph in 4.2 seconds: faster than the CLK 63 AMG, since the CLK 55 AMG is lighter in wieght.
The CLK63 AMG features a 6.2L V8 with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Available in both Coupé and Cabriolet, the CLK63 boasts 481 hp (354 kW) and 465 ft·lbf (630 newton m) of torque. Compared to its predecessor the CLK63 has 31% more power and 23% more torque. The CLK63 is currently being used as the safety car in Formula One. It accelerates from 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds.
Hard to beleive the 55 is faster then the 63. Do we have proof of this?

That might be an inaccurate quote in which is posted on Wikipedia's website. They are known to be off base a bit. I just copied and pasted what was there. I'm still trying to figure out what the real 0-60 times are for the CLK 55 AMG. I've seen 5.2, 4.9, 4.7 and now 4.2? I think 4.7 sec for a stock CLK 55 AMG might be more accurate. Does anyone know?

Warmed up the tires nicely too before.
On another note,my worst runs were 5.6-5.8,didnt warm up the tires, bad piece of road, not straight, spinning the tires a bit. That was at night with an average temp of 65f.

Well, although some would quote Wilkpedia as the Bible, this source of information is merely postings by other individuals. I have posted on the CLK55 section myself (see here) but would never quote it as a source of definitive information. By most standards, the 2001 to 2002 CLK55 AMG runs the 0-60 in about 4.9 seconds. Mind you that would be an optimal run. The W209 was rated slightly slower at 5.0 seconds (while it has 20 more HP it is heavier). The CLK63 Black is the fastest of all our CLK models, besides the DTM
As a side note, I had a surprise run against a G37S last week. It was in front of me with 20" rims. It tried to run but just got reeled in quickly Nice looking car, except the 20" rims.
