I dont think you can get much of handling by just getting new spring..

but what I can tell you is that i have HnR and it handles just like stock...

and I love it!!!!

but the wheel increasment made ride harshier...

H&R is one of the top spring companies, specializing in German cars. While the ride is not much harsher (as I can remember now) than stock springs, it handles much better in my oppinion. Cornering is flat and the progressive spring rate takes more of the load better. The Look is excellent. But be careful while parking as hitting curbs and scraping coming off higher drops like curbs is pretty easy and expensive. Good luck.

If you mean Vogtland I used them on my C32 and thought they were great. If I lower my C55 I would not hesitate to use them again.......

CLK55 / E350 Coupe
my CLK55 is fitted with vogtlands. I absolutely love them. My previous benzs i've had intrax and H&R. Too be honest between H&R and vogtland you really can't go wrong with either. I went with Vogtland with my CLK55 due to more innovation and and the great things ppl have said. Do a google search for "Vogtland vs H&R" you will find most ppl that have had experiance on both sides will learn towards vogtland. The availability of vogtland is the killer and why is not as popular.
Way more important then springs is high quality shocks is way more important that will give you the most effect. And of course leveling your car properly with the right pad setup.

Goodluck
