CLS55 AMG
Left the fold....
....got promoted to head burger flipper and got myself a mint-condition CLS55 with the 030 AMG Performance Package. Miss my baby already, but I'll tell ya, this thing is a friggin' MONSTER! 
Anyway, just wanted to give a big "best wishes" to everyone, enjoyed hangin' with you all....I'll still be poking my head in here anyway, so you haven't gotten rid of me yet!

God I love the CLS55! Especially after seeing Top Gear episode where Jeremy Clarkson takes it through the ringer. If you haven't seen it I suggest you check it out on YouTube....

I did look elsewhere, but that damn thing is just so sexy....Car & Driver had a good analogy of Angelina Jolie in a black dress w/spaghetti straps and spiked heels, and they were spot-on.
Looked at the M5, but a) don't like the looks all that well, and b) they have to gear it so agressively due to lack of TORQUE
that it drinks gas like crazy...and actually, in this thing I'm managing to get quite close to the CLK in gas mileage. And oh, man, that motor!!

Honestly haven't really pushed it too hard, but even in comfort mode where I'm keeping it for commuting, the 030 Package's suspension is stiffer than the normal CLS55s, and it still corners like a ****, very flat. Dialing it up to Sport II would make it even more so, I'm sure....but I haven't played w/it yet.
It is definitely heavier than the CLK and it shows (feels less frisky, speedboat vs yacht I guess), but in terms of cornering speed and outright grip I'd say the two are very close.
