Is is actually 94 and I can't get that normally but I don't run it normally either. I have mixed 100+ octane at the track with 91 to get a mix of 95 or so. Worked great.

A bunch of us from a local car club went to the drags last night. I figured I'd run since I have never run my CLK55. I was very happy with my runs. My car is stock besides the Magnaflow muffler and dual tips performance wise. I ran with my 19's because I was too lazy to put the 17's on.
First run
2.136 60 ft.
13.6 @ 104.2
Third run
1.998 60 ft.
13.177 @ 107.78
Fifth run
2.008 60 ft.
13.199 @ 106.63
I ran 6 times and was just playing with launch and shift technique. Both 13.1 passes I held the brake and gas to 1000rpm on the line and floored it and manually shifted the car. I was quite suprised when I ran both 13.1 passes. I was hoping to get 13.3!

I got the motor mounts replaced so that part of it is all good now. The plan is to hit the track tomorrow night with the 17 inch wheels on. I also am going to play with the removal of the screen in the maf (yes, I know that it is there for a reason, but it is worth a try to see how much of a restriction it is), then I also have a cold air intake that I might try. I also ordered some K&N filters for the stock box, but I don't know if they are going to show up in time.

prepare for a check engine light when you start messing with the MAF. they are not cheap when they go bad either.

I've actually had the screen and plastic out for a few days now. Not sure it will make much difference, but on all the Ford and GM cars I've tuned in the past 5 1/2 years we've never had an issue with taking them out and all the aftermarket mafs don't come with them. It is a little different though since on the benz there is a sharp turn just before the maf.
