Hey everyone. Quite a few have known for a while that we were coming out with our own 3pc forged wheels and big brake kits to compliment our carbon fiber exterior parts. Some have even seen our wheels and brakes first if they attended SocalEuro last month. But today marks the official release date of these 2 items from us. We are also pleased to announce the official re launch of our new website www.euroteckmotorsports.com or it can now also be reached at www.etkms.com This website redesign was a must and replaced our ancient website. Our new site is filled with detailed pictures of our parts, wallpaper downloads, product release dates, and the ability to purchase most of our carbon fiber parts directly threw the website as well as a clear background about us and exactly what we do, and what we do for other companies.

First I would like to show pictures of our ETW-5 3pc. Forged wheels. These wheels are ONLY for Mercedes-Benz applications. We do not make these wheels to fit any other car. We styled them similar to the much loved AMG wheels in a 3pc Forged version. These are totally custom wheels in any finish, width or offset. The sky is the limit on these. We offer 5 standard finishes. Brushed Aluminum, Silver, Gunmetal, Matte Black and Gloss Black. You have the option of either polished or chrome lip.

Here are some pics of them and then some of them installed on our S550 project car in brushed aluminum and chrome lip in 22x9 and 22x10.5.

































Next is our big brake kits. Before I continue, yes the S550 does have a 12 Piston 405mm brake kit on the front. That brake kit is just massive and incredible to look at. It requires a minimum 20" wheel to clear the kit. In person you really appreciate the size. We offer big brake kits for most current Mercedes-Benz application. Although the smaller cars cannot fit the 12 piston setup. We have the following sizes

4 Piston 330mm
4 Piston 355mm
4 Piston 380mm
6 Piston 355mm
8 Piston - 380mm
12 Piston 405mm

Don't we have a six piston kit on the 55? In order to get benefit from this would we need to go up to the 8 piston?

 

It depends on what year CLK55 you have. For 2003 they were a 4 piston front. Either way, the kit is matched to the cars specs. These kits are a huge improvment over any stock kit. The more pistons does not always mean its better. These brakes are made with different size pistons for a balanced brake system according to which car its for.
