will wheels made to fit an 2005 Audi S4 fit on a W209? I know the bolt pattern and offsets will work, but what about the hub? Will I need hub rings? Thanks. Tommy

Mercedes wheels can fit on Audi w/ hub rings : (66.6 to 57.1) Audi rims will not fit on Mercedes Hub's unless you get them drilled out from 57.1mm to 66.6mm.

it is not that audi rims are ugly or better than MB rims i just never really understood why someone would want rims that have audi logos on their mb or vice versa. i sort of get the audi wheels on vw or porsche wheels on either because they are all from the same family. maybe i am nuts

Its not the stock wheels. I had a set of 19x8.5 HRE 540R's on the S4 and I wanted to use them on the CLK.

You'll have to get the hub bore'd out for them to fit on the clk.Originally Posted by tc1728

i gotcha my bad. the offset, backspacing, and bore on MB's are really odd. i think they just got worse on the new C Class as well. if i am not mistaken the offset is over 50 now.

It's like seeing VW's, and Audi's on AMG monoblocks. For whatever reason it's the thing to do right now. If you ever wanna sell yours, post them on a VWVortex. They'll go quick.
I believe that newer Audis used 66.6mm centre bore. If the offsets are suitable, the wheel should fit. Otherwise, perhaps you can use spacers to play with the offsets.
