CLK55 caliper W209

Can I put the CLK55 AMG's cpliper on my CLK350?
What do I need to make it done? I have asked my dealer, but they are not sure about that.
Thanks!

I guess the biggest problem would be if the caliper would clear the rim? I would say the brakes definitely fit, but you might need to get new rims?

Thanks!

How about the 03 or 04 CLK55 AMG 4-piston Caliper?
Can it clear my 17 inch wheel?

4 piston calipers will clear your OEM 17" for sure

CLS 55 AMG - one of the last off the AMG line
quick question - my rear tire's callipers on the CLK55 (2004 model year) arent AMG branded - did someone take them out - or did the 03-04 just have AMG branded front callipers ?

W209 2003 CLK55 Coupe
OEM brake calipers

Since the majority of braking power on all cars is on the front wheels, the factory CLK rear brake calipers are standard equipment on the CLK55 AMG.
The AMG caliper is only used on the front.

I understand - thanks - what didnt make sense to me was why I have seen a couple of other CLK55's with AMG branded callipers - is there a rear option as well ? Particularly it was a cabriolet I saw last - and judging by the lack of dual right and left exhaust I figure it was a 2003-2004 model.

The rear rotor for the CLK350 is solid disc not the ventilated disc.
I know the 09 CLK550 is the ventilated disc on the rear and it is bigger then mine.

I had the same question myself and wonder if anyone can provide a definitive answer? My '04 clk 55 cabrio has solid rear discs w/o amg calipers, yet I saw another clk 55 cabrio today with drilled and slotted rotors.
