2005 clk 55 amg modded
also

i might b interested in trading your 2005 e55 for my 2005 clk55. you have my email so send me some picks and ill send you some as well. My clk 55 has been weigned down with out compromising appearances. it weighs 3800lb, 1900 in fron and 1900 in rear, equal ratio. It has a renntech chip giving 35 hp , the custom exhaust work, giving it another 50 hp, kleeman camshafts 30-40hp,k and n airfilters giving 7.5 for each filter. I just dynoed it and its pushing 425hp to the wheel and 480 to the crank. Im still working on the engine mods, im putting in a carboniom intake thats 2000 dollars then nitrus boosters hooked up to the intake so the car will b able to handle it. 100 shot boost. The govenor has been disabled, so the 200 mph gages can b really used; I put 18 in brabus wheels black center piefce with chrome lip. They r staggered so the ones in rear r 12 inches wide and in from 8.5. i pull on ferrari f430's , lamborgini gallardos. It has all the luxury packages offered from benz, i have done over 33000 in mods, including a custom sound system, with a jl w7 12 in ported through the centerpice of the back seaats. I dont have pics right now on this comp but if you are interested let me know. Im trying to find a good owner for it. ITs my baby and its really one of a kind, every day i c a regular clk, and once in a while i see some bull**** clk55 with one exhaust. and the cheap brakes. the 2005 has the same brakes as in the blacck series. for the year i got, athey updated the suspenion to better coil overs and only one yar the one i got is the quad exhaust. if you want to pull on enzos and lp640 lambos just hit a shot of noz. My 0 to 60 is 4.2 with out the newer mods im putting in, so heres a little back grounds, its grey with black leather / interior and blue tooth set up and smoked out tail lights to match the rims and smoked out front corner lights. this is a beast. theres some fottage of racing it on youtube under the rizz dvd 1 ull see how my naturally asperated clk55 will take out a 650 hp muscle car, plus u can see what the car looks like , so anyone intersted let me know,

it doesnt really matter if your car is the dual or single exhaust. the engine and powertrain are the same. the brakes are also the same. for someone who has done so much to their car you are pretty ignorant. a W209 55 is a W209 55 outside of minor interior and cosmetic upgrades through out the models life.

i actually prefer the single exhaust. the single set-up is lighter and less expensive to maintain and or upgrade. one muffler costs less than two.

That was a good choice...not a CLK 55 and not the CLK BS but right there in the middle. Good for you!

notice the clk63 still had single exhaust and makes plenty of power.... this goes along with what tuners are telling me that there is no performance benefit from my single 2004 single amg exhaust to run duals....... just sound and looks. (not arguing that those 2 are n't reason enough.... but don't try to tell people it's for performance).
