what do you guys think. any thing to watch out? i dont have a carfax account maybe one of you owners can help me out with it.

High milage with high price. For less money you can find one with less miles! Keep looking. One will come around.

Still contemplating wether to go Black, silver or white.... leaning towards black.

are clk 55 kept for long term ownership? because i don't see that many for sale. heck even ebay dont have that many 04/05 coupes left

looking for a benz
AMG's as a whole just aren't mass produced like regular MBZ cars are. That's why you see so many used benz's on the market and not so many AMG's. The w209 clk55 seems like a hard used car to come by.

The market price for these cars (as well as everything else) is generally going to be a bit higher. I've been looking for an 04-05 SL55 and have found they can be anywhere from 4-8k more expensive compared to similar specs elsewhere in the country. Good luck!

My attitude is this; since the resale and trade-in prices have taken such a hit, why not just keep it and enjoy it.

FYI, I ran an autocheck on the '05 located in Daly City a while back and that car has reported frame damage. I'm also looking for a clk55.

i am thinking about selling mine. 2003 with 34,000 miles on the clock. custom forged 19" wheels, KW V1 suspension, exhaust, etc. you can do search if you want to see some pics. Anyway if you are interested pm me an offer.

i love the car but have been infatuated with porsche forever. i am seriously considering taking the plunge.

wow.. bay area has bad listing.. there was a convertible in fremont with bumper replacement done... -_-
