Thinking about getting a high mileage clk55

hey guys, i just sold my m3 and am looking to get back into a mercedes. i found a clk55 amg 05 with 71k miles on it. i am just worried that the mileage may be a bit high. are there any specific problems i may look out for in a clk55? thanks.

I wouldnt be worried, if you know what to look for. Im GLAD i never bought a warranty for my cars. I bought the clk with 47K on it, I have close to 120k now, only thing i had fixed was crankshaft sensor($300), motormounts and misc repairs($500), and of course things like service a, b, and brakes(1 time in almost 4 years of ownership). In my case a warranty would of been a HUGE waste of money$$!!

I would get the warranty too. you dont want to replace a tranny on one of these cars.

CLK 55 AMG

I just bought an '04 CLK55 AMG, and I bought the warranty. Yes, it's a gamble. If nothing goes wrong, the money I paid for the warranty is a loss. I lose in Vegas sometimes too.
