New pics
Nice pics Timster.... you should seriously consider upgrading your brakes.... you're gonna need them. i see that you switched to Kleemann suspension. How do you like them? I liked them alot, however, I'm ditching all the comfort and going with a coilover setup.
Brakes are next! Just need to absorb what I have.
I really like the complete set up. The Super Charger and the Suspension system are seamless, they just work well together.
I haven’t really put it to the test just yet. I’m hoping to in the next couple of weeks.
I'm planning on going down to Huntington Beach soon. Will I see your car there?

Bits and pieces of it... oh and an engineless chassis. You should check out the rollcage. I haven't seen it in person but those who have say it is flawless.

Thanks I'm very happy with it!

Timster - what kind of tires are your sporting? Also in your profile you mention custom gauges? What type - lastly, you need some racing pedals now - I wish I could have found that RED you have, I love it - I have the sliver, easy to clean and semi-stealth, but I can't help loving a RED DEVIL. Enjoy, I know that you will. If the market ever come back I will join you in the SC installs, but for now I have to sit tight.
I'm running Michelin Pilot Sports, but I am concerned. I heard on Friday the Michelin is going to discontinue the Polit sport. Not sure what I will run when these are gone. I hope they bring out something newer and better.
I'm having Black VDO Boost and Fuel Pressure Gauges installed on a matching panel that will go where the Ash tray door is. It's a perfect fitted custom panel made by the guys at Kleemann USA. The gauge panel should be done next week. Brandon at Kleemann USA marked all the cables and showed me how to install the panel, he even let me pick the laminate out of ten samples. Right now there's just an open spot under the Command system. I'll post a picture of the finished product as soon as it's done.
As for Magma Red I am a BIG fan of red, when I saw it on the dealers show room floor it was a done deal (I didn't let them know that, I made them work for it). I just got lucky I think? Because it was the very last 2002 CLK55 availible in Nor Cal.
Racing pedals? I've seen a few that look nice, AMG, snd Brabus. But I'm holding out for a set of four. Maybe Kleemann or EVOsport will offer a new set with there logo on it?
As for the market I too hope it comes back. I hate to even think about it.

Looks cool lowered Tim, and with all that extra power, brakes are a MUST!!!...Are you going with Kleeman or Brembos?
No more 4x4 look for me. But that's as low as I want to go.
Any lower and I couldn't get up my drive way.
Prolly Brembos, but I want the complete set front and rear.

2x4's sounds like my vette, I had to use 2x4's just to use a floor jack.

Let me know if you are going to want a rear kit. I can probably have it ready by the time you come down. We also can get a 15" 8-piston front kit with a 4-piston rear kit, but it's probably overkill for the street.

Where did you hear this? Is this true that the Pilot Sports are being discontinued?

From America's Tire or better knowns as Discount Tire across the country. A friend went to order a new set and the manager told him they were being discontinued. I usually buy at least two sets a year. I haven't started looking for new tires yet, but I'll need to be for I do any Open Road Racing. It's cheap insurance, good tires that is.

It's a lot of fun. People from all over the country show up.
Some of them have Big Dough and spend it on playing.
It's cool to see some of the very nice cars people play with.
Tim
