I'd put stock wheels back on. I think the monoblock wheels look better. I was skeptical at first but when I saw the car in person I knew nothing else would touch those hubs. You have a pretty exclusive car regardless, and I trust the engineers at AMG more than the previous owner's taste IMO. Have fun with your car, I'm jealous at your price. I thought 12k was a killer deal for mine lol.

At 74k you might want to have your motor mounts, lower ball joints and steering damper checked. Also check the wire harness into the tranny for leaks.

It's at 80,000 now.

I found a guy that retired (20 years) working for MB and has owned his own side shop for 10 years. A total of 30 years working with MB. He's really good.

He said that I need to do brake fluid-collant-transmission fluid this month.

They did a inspection . Upon inspection they found:

Transmisson Leak (Minor)
Lower Control Arm Bushing (Both needs replacement)
Front Left Lower Ball Joint (Minor Play)

When I take it back I will have him take a look at:

Motor mounts, lower ball joints and steering damper checked. Also check the wire harness into the tranny for leaks.

very clean...i also picked up an 01 clk55 a few months ago...mine had 100k and had all fluids flushed out, replaced engine mounts, lower ball joints, bushings, filters, and steering stabilizer...get ready for maf and brake pedal switch and tons of bulbs...

i had a clk320 a few years ago, and when they say a clk55 is a different beast, they weren't kidding...the old ***** bars come in handy quite often

I was wondering how hard it is to change the Brake fluid - Coolant fluid and Transmission fluid

The guy I've been taking it to quoted me $450.00 to change all 3.

Thanks for the help on that sensor, I'm gonna do it this weekend

Is there a DIY link for changing the fluids? Thanks guys!

brake fluid and power steering i used a turkey baster to suck out...drained and filled 3x
coolant fluid just drains out...make sure to use OE Mercedes coolant

i had the transmission done by a local mercedes indy mechanic...i wasn't going to pay $120 for a lousy transmission dipstick....i had the pilot bushing leaking issue, 8 quarts of transmission drain and fill, and transmissioin filter changed..the pilot bushing parts cost $125 alone...came out to $275

i also had the differential drained and filled 2x and it required i think 2L...OE differential cost about $35/L....and that was leaking a bit around the gasket so he sealed it up for me...total was $100...

i asked him how much for a brake, power steering, and coolant flush..

$95 for brake
$45 for power steering
$70 coolant flush

I'm on the east coast so this is just a comparison for you...
