Fine choice of car.
Well done!
Look forward to seeing some pics.
Well done for finding a clean one too.
I went looking for a CLK55 last year but couldn't find ANY in the condition I was looking for.

2001 CLK55 AMG
I've had my 2001 CLK55 for three months now, and it's been a joy. Quite an upgrade from a 1998 Grand Am lol.
Take care of her, and enjoy that engine. It's my favorite part.

Thanks guys. I live around the Fresno area! Ok I'll look into that exhaust. Could you tell the difference when you put it on? What else can I do to increase horsepower??
It needs controll arm bushings - where can I get these for cheap and can I put them in myself??
Thanks guys!

2002 CLK55 Cabriolet (DEAD: 1989 300E, 1984 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible)
As a fellow black/black W208 owner ... welcome and beautiful car of course
But ... oh dear ... I am so not feeling those non-AMG chrome wheels

Put the AMG wheels on and sell those rims for cash, put cash towards upgrading the car. You should pick up a bit of acceleration alone just from taking those really heavy wheels off the car.

Nay.........keep the wheels, they made the car look so much better. Stock car, there are million of them on the road. You want to stand out, don't you? Btw, when did wheels are not consider "Upgrade"?
