PARS-CLK55 AMG was Rear Ended by a DD
So, the ins. co. is considering totaling the vehicle. I was considering parting it out. Anyone interested in parts? The car was mint before this, and sustained a lot of body damage in the rear, and potential damage to convertible top components. However, the rest of the car is fine. Just put brand new rear tires on a week prior to the accident.
PS, my family builds race cars, so I can part out, clean and ship the parts at my shop in Agawam, MA.
I also have a full parts list for the vehicle.

so far, $9,200 visible damage (body, exhaust, etc.) now there opening it up and saying conv. top components are damaged. Car is book value at $19,800, there leaning towards totaling it...not sure how I should handle this....saw a nice 2003 SL55AMG for $42,000....
Like I said, could have ins. co. buy out for book, could pay off the loan and try to buy back and either fix myself, or part it out...
