OK...Who knows their 2007 CLK63 history???
Nice car by the way. I was at a dealership last month test driving an 06 CLK55 AMG. They had just sold an 06 E55 AMG wagon for $58K. It was 1 of only 64 shipped here to the States. Now that's rare! get this...the salesman said the car will do high 11's in the quarter!!! That's INSANE from a wagon.
Thanks for the info, and have a gd day. = )

The figure for the CLK63 Coupe (367), is that the total that was made?
I only ask because I'm sure the US wasn't offered the Coupe, only the Convertible and the Black Series.
I, too, am curious as to how many of the 63 Coupes were made.

That's why I was intersted in knowing the total number they produced for the world, as well as the color break down. My thinking was that...maybe these cars will be worth some serious dollars some day. Being that the 2007 was the first ever year that AMG manufactured and handbuilt each engine from scratch says alot. Plus lets say that 295 total convertibles were made, and of theose 50 were in Silver...well that's extremely rare.
So it just would be cool to know. I mean to have people come up to you and say...Oh wow awesome car, and to be able to say back..Hey thanks. Yup 1 of only 295 ever made, and 1 of only 50 in this color for the world, is pretty cool to me. = )
If no one else does before I get my car in May, I'll join the AMG Lounge, and see if someone there could answer the question, and report the info back here. As was suggested by Chappy. ; )
I think the AMG signature engines started in 2003. My 2002 AMG does not have the signature but my 2005 AMG does.

Well, if those are the numbers for the USA...63 convertible (143), and the 63 BS (367), what is Merc's output numbers for the rest of the world on both?
This may just be as tough a question to answer as is the question...How many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie roll tootsie pop??? THE WORLD MAY NEVER KNOW. LOL.

Good day to everyone. I just wanted to post this link to an awesome Clk63 review. It was published in 2006 by Richard Meaden and Gus Gregory. It even talks a little bit in the begining about MB stealing Bernd Ramler back from Porsche to create the "63" engine. You have to read this article. WAYYYYY COOL! Gives me a great feeling of ownership pride, and I haven't even seen my car yet. LOL
Anyway, let us all know what you think. I love reading everyones opinions.
Well, take care, and have a great day all.
