I have finally bought my dream car fellas!!! i just bought a 2003 clk55 and i pick it up next wednesday!! its silver with black and merlot leather it has 36,000 miles and i got it for 18,500. From looking around a lot i feel i got a pretty good deal. I had a few questions though...this is my first amg and i am going to drive it daily. Is it a good daily driver? what kind of problems start to happen? and have you all been happy with your cars?? thanks guys pics to come

I too recently bought a used 2004 CLK55 and I've been daily driving mine 60mi/day in highway traffic and I've got to say it is a GREAT daily driver. If I drive like a sane person I get 22-23 mpg.

I've already had a few mods performed on my car and plan for more... and the nice thing you can still comfortably dd this car even w/mods.

perfect! i cant wait! i am so excited! i do have a question though...i was going to put some wheels on right away because the 03 has the 17s. My question is will the 19" CLS55 5 spoke amg wheels fit? if so does anybody have any pics of that?? thanks

what is the offset of the CLS wheels ? you will have to know that.

I had CLS reps on during the winter. They were ET35

so they will just bolt on? would you happen to have any pics of the car with the wheels on it?

what size tire would you recommend? they come staggered 8.5 in front and 9.5 in rear...

Right now I'm running 235/35/19 front and 265/30/19 rear dropped on H&R springs

im thinkin of just going with the new e63 amg wheels. The rep versions for sure...the size i can get them in are 18. what tire size would you run with 18s??
