I'd like to but money is a little tight ATM. Mainly due to maintenance issues. I do plan on dynoing it tho. I wish I could get a before and after shot. It's only a partial victory but if my legwork proves fruitful perhaps someone with more resources could take the final step with their 55 and install/measure it.
I don't have a 55AMG but I am going to be getting my 500 on a dyno for a base run, then back after every mod (dohcfiend knows historically that I'm a dyno addict and I record all gains thouroughly - no 'butt dyno' BS here). Cat delete will be one of the mods, I'll post the results so everyone can see the % of increase.

Sorry instead of payin out the extra $$$ to remove the cats, I just gutted them instead. The money i saved allowed me to speed up the procedure. Kevwood: I believe we have chatted before a long time ago in a far away land. Lol. It is indeed a small world! Good to hear from ya!

Last little bit I wanted to add: it appears the engine runs slightly cooler with all 4 cats gutted. Not sure the exact amount but the needle appears to be 1-1.5mm lower when compared to same ambients before gutting the cats.
