2001 CLK 55 AMG.......... 2001 Corvette Z06.........
LSD for w208
Anyone document their 1/4 mi improvement? Do these units negatively affect handling of the car? Does the transmission stand up to the added wear?

What added wear would an LSD create for the transmission?

If it only spins one wheels most of the time then it has 2, I would think it should increase the load on the transmission.

I see. So the stock diff is a LSD as I suspected the first time I turned off the ESP. Ya after considering my reply I figured mb didn't put a weak tranny in a $75k car.

Open differential stock, no lsd
