Tire size question!
What do the different tire sizes mean?
I know what the difference is between 16-17-18 inch tires but my question:
What does the 265 mean
265/30ZR19 91W
I know what the 30ZR19 91W means but what about the 265?
I saw 265, 275, 285 ect.

Width in
millimeters the bigger the number the wider the tire.
second number is the percent of the width reflected as height of sidewall
ie. 30% of 265 yields sidewall height in millimeters
third number Diameter of rim.
