1998 CLK 320 soft top convertible
Cruise Control
Hello!
I'm a new owner of a pre-owned 1998 CLK 320 Cab, it's my first time to own a Merc.
How do you engage the cruise control? I've not had any problem with my my other cars' cruise control, but I can't seem to set it with the CLK. I've tried it many times, the dashboard indicates that the limiter is on but when I release my foot from the accelerator, the car doesn't maintain the set speed.

From memory, all you have to do is flick the lever up to set. Then it's up to increase, down to decrease and back to cancel. You're probably pushing the lever inwards to engage the speed limiter.
