Has anybody done an AMG brake upgrade on their cars???

I have a '04 CLK55 AMG, and i wanted to put 6 piston calipers front and 4 piston calipers rear. Don't want to go with Brembo's, want to keep the OEM look.

Was hoping that W211 Amg brakes (calipers, pads and rotors) would fit. Don't want to change spindles or knuckles or anything.

Hi mate.

You're probably better off speaking to the guys on the CLK (209) forum.
There are a fews guys on there who have upgraded their brakes.

Interestingly, the 6/4 pot AMG calipers are made by Brembo.

Like Rash said, MB 4pot and up brakes are made by Brembo. There are a few of us that have done the conversion, but beware, it's expensive.

I'm one of those who did the upgrade. W211 will not fit without modification. you want the 05 CLK55 brakes. If you are cash short and want to phase it in, you can upgrade your front caliper and stay with your current rotor until you're ready to throw down for the front rotors - which is the most expensive piece.

Hey Gents,

Helping my friend, selling his used Front 6-pot calipers,

removed from 06 (R171 Slk55 AMG BS), painted in Black color,

they got some minor scratches,

these calipers comes with new "TRW" pads/new bolts/new wear sensor,,

anyone interested let me know..

Also been wanting to ask, do you have any clk63 hats or used front rotors. I would be down to buy some. So I can sl65 swap my 210
