AMG Brakes
Has anybody done an AMG brake upgrade on their cars???
I have a '04 CLK55 AMG, and i wanted to put 6 piston calipers front and 4 piston calipers rear. Don't want to go with Brembo's, want to keep the OEM look.
Was hoping that W211 Amg brakes (calipers, pads and rotors) would fit. Don't want to change spindles or knuckles or anything.

Hi mate.
You're probably better off speaking to the guys on the CLK (209) forum.
There are a fews guys on there who have upgraded their brakes.
Interestingly, the 6/4 pot AMG calipers are made by Brembo.

There are tons of infos on the AMG conversion. If you use the "search" feature, you'll find the infos.

Hey Gents,
Helping my friend, selling his used Front 6-pot calipers,
removed from 06 (R171 Slk55 AMG BS), painted in Black color,
they got some minor scratches,
these calipers comes with new "TRW" pads/new bolts/new wear sensor,,
anyone interested let me know..
