Anti theft question about my new 2002 clk 55 amg
Hey, i just bought a 2002 clk 55 amg about a month ago. The car has already been broken into and for peace of mind im curious if this car came stock with a anti theft device such as tele aid? or lojack? I dont pay any subscription or monthly cost for this and i dont know if these options came stock with the car when originally purchased back in 2002 or if they were even a option?
There are alot of car thefts in the neighborhood that i live in and im just worried that my car might wind up in a thief's hands.

The analogue system that your car came with can no longer be used to locate the car if it is stolen. The good news is, it's very difficult to hot wire a Mercedes-Benz. Theives can break in and make a mess figuring that out. Possibly leaving the car unstartable when done, but the car should be there when finished. The exceptions that come to mind are car jacking and flat bedding.
