ultimately it was constructive....keep us posted on what you end up with now that you have an idea of what kind of look you are pursuing.

yeah, i see that now. i was being overly defensive when you guys were just stating the truth.. thanks for accepting my apologies and moving on. you guys all seem like cool guys, and i will definitely keep you all posted on the upcoming mods, and im eager to hear the comments! hahah
next is blacked out headlight housings and h&r springs + rear spacers. anyone know off the top of your head, what the total distance from the fender to the rear wheel hub is? my rear wheels are +30 18x9.5 and i want them to sit flush. not sure what size spacers i need.. i'll probably just measure this later, but doesnt hurt to ask.

as long as you go with a wheel made for your merc; you shouldn't need spacers for 9.5 inch rear wheels. there are quite a few 8.5 front/9.5 rear wheel combo's around staggered and non-staggered depending on your preference that do not require spacers.......I can imagine the headache of spacers on a merc.
Yours is a newer gen than mine but on mine the hubs do not have studs so fitting spacers would be a hassle.
one piece of advice I will give you is whatever aftermarket wheels you go with especially if the width is different get lugnuts with them bc they are most likely a little shorter than stock.
