I've never worked with plasti-dip before. My current car is leased and I figured it could be a good inexpensive alternative to change the wheels temporarily (since the car needs to be returned stock). Is it true that you can just peel it off? Please explain the process

Well, PD (PlastiDip) does peel off fairly easily, and it isn't very resistant to high temperatures either. I've tried using it on my stock rims as well, and I think you have to go with sating or glossy finish, but to the versed Mercedes Benz driver, you'll still know it's PD.
